COACH AND PROGRAM

The numbers tell of a difficult battle for the Bulldogs last year: 58.6 points per game, .372 field-goal percentage, .301 three-point percentage and a minus-13 scoring margin-all last in the Southern Conference.

Coach Pat Dennis sums it up nicely without using any numbers: "We weren't very good. We were skinny, inexperienced and we couldn't shoot. We took our lumps hard."
