Delaware coach David Henderson hopes that the late Al McGuire's old saying about "the best thing about freshmen is that they become sophomores" is true.
The reason? Even though his team went 16-12 last season (Delaware's best record in three years), the Blue Hens' youth and inexperience reared its head often last winter. No wonder.
Henderson relied heavily on four freshmen during the 2003-04 season, plus one sophomore -- 6-8 Virginia Tech transfer Harding Nana -- who had played just three college games before last year.
