COACH AND PROGRAM

Credit former NBA pivot Luc Longley, a University of New Mexico graduate and a three-time NBA champion, with one of the most important assists ever recorded in Old Dominion hoops history.

Old Dominion is home to one of the nation's most underrated big men in 6-9 junior Alex Loughton (16.6 ppg, 8.7 rpg), an Australian import who was brought to the attention of the Monarchs' coaches by Longley, a fellow Aussie, and former Stanford player Alex Vlahov.
