The Black Knights made some progress last year, but the game of basketball still seems to come hard sometimes for Army.
Jim Crews' team plays the kind of hard-nosed defense his teams have always played but, boy, do the Knights struggle to put the ball in the basket sometimes. Army ranked last in the country in scoring, averaging just 50.5 points per game. Fifteen times last year, it failed to reach 50 points. Five times it didn't get to 40.
