In coach Billy Taylor's first season, they enjoyed the second biggest turnaround in NCAA Division I play, going from 5-23 to a more-than-respectable 16-12. Picked seventh in the league's preseason poll, Lehigh was atop the conference standings at mid-season and eventually finished fourth.
