Team preview: Loyola-Maryland
Blue Ribbon Illustrated previews the 2003-04 college basketball season, exclusively on Insider.
Loyola endured its ninth straight losing season in 2002-03 and there really was no secret to the team's lack of success.
The Greyhounds averaged a league-worst 59 points per game, eight points less than ninth-ranked Rider. Loyola's defense wasn't horrible (72.0 ppg), but its inability to score resulted in an average scoring margin of minus 13 points.
