Editor's Note: Insider has teamed with Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook, long known as the Bible of college basketball, to provide a comprehensive look at all 327 Division I teams. The long wait is over & in more ways than one. After a four-year provisional period, Lipscomb was declared an official NCAA Division I athletic program by the NCAA Management Council over the summer.
While the Bisons are the newest member of the Atlantic Sun Conference, they are not eligible to compete for the 2004 A-Sun Tournament and the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament for another two seasons.
