Team preview: Richmond

This season, the first order of business for second-year Richmond head coach Jerry Wainwright is to put the "O" back in Richmond.

Last season, the Spiders played killer defense (62.4 ppg allowed), but their offense abandoned them down the stretch as the team stumbled. How bad were things? The Spiders began Atlantic 10 Conference play with a 6-1 record, but proceeded to drop eight of their last 11 games-including a 66-52 loss to Temple in the A-10 Tournament quarterfinals followed by a 69-47 loss to Providence in the first round of the NIT.
