Editor's Note: Insider has teamed with Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook, long known as the Bible of college basketball, to provide a comprehensive look at all 327 Division I teams.

The ACC will be adding two new members in the summer of 2004. Both Miami and Virginia Tech are football powers, but neither has had much basketball success in recent years.

The theory advanced by the ACC's expansionists is that the two newcomers will help the league's current members improve in football, while the ACC's strength in the winter sport will pull up the basketball programs at Miami and Virginia Tech.
