Before the NCAA Tournament last year, Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim publicly hailed Texas as his choice to win it all. His reason? The Longhorns' great depth.
A funny thing happened at the Superdome in New Orleans, though, as the Longhorns met the Orangemen in a national semifinal. And Texas, despite all its bodies, couldn't withstand the onslaught of freshman sensation Carmelo Anthony and Co. and lost, 95-84, to the eventual national champions.
