Team preview: Oklahoma
Blue Ribbon Illustrated previews the 2003-04 college basketball season, exclusively on Insider.
After the 2001-02 season, Oklahoma lost most of its frontcourt. After last season, it was the Sooners' backcourt that was gutted.
For some programs, that might be cause for concern. Not so at Oklahoma, where coach Kelvin Sampson doesn't have to worry too much about replacing veteran players. Elite programs tend to attract elite players. Sampson has a talented recruiting class coming in, but enough holdovers to keep things in place.
