Santa Clara athletic director Dan Coonan told ESPN.com Sunday night that he's expecting to sit down with Santa Clara coach Dick Davey this week to discuss a multiyear contract.
Coonan said Davey's contract expires July 1, 2005. He said he normally doesn't allow contracts to get down to the wire, but since this was his first season at the school, he wanted to evaluate 62-year-old Davey.To continue reading this article you must be an Insider
