Wisconsin loaded with linemen

Editor's note: Look for Tom Lemming's 2004 Recruiting Road Trip reports every Tuesday and Friday. You could always count on the state of Wisconsin to produce at least 15 to 25 Division I football prospects a year. This season will be no different, but I believe the number will be closer to 25 rather than 15. The states top prospects are led by three players from Oak Creek High school. Superstar linebacker Travis Beckum, who at 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds can run a 4.37 40 and who, at this stage, might just be the most recruited defensive player in the nation. Travis right now has Florida State, Miami, Tennessee, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Michigan State at the top of his list. But he does say it will take a long time before he commits.
