Two-sport star Paulus faces tough decision

NORTH BABYLON, N.Y. -- It's an unusually good year for football talent in the state of New York. In fact, nation's No. 1 prospect just might emerge from the Empire State.
That prospect is Greg Paulus, who more closely resembles Joe Montana than any prep player I've seen in several years. Greg and his father, Dave, recently drove from Syracuse, N.Y. to Allentown, Pa. to have dinner with me and talk about football recruiting. I already knew an awful lot about Greg even before meeting him. I've seen lots of film of both his sophomore and junior seasons and quickly realized that I was watching someone special.
