Cushing, Robinson among nation's elite LBs

JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- The last report showed that there are an awful lot of blue-chip athletes on the offensive side of the ball in New Jersey. Well, the fact is, there appears to be even more top-notch athletes on the defensive side of the ball.
Kade Weston, the highest-ranking defensive lineman in the Garden State, is also one of the country's finest. The 6-foot-6, 310-pounder from Little Silver Red Bank looks like a superstar on film. Weston is an extraordinarily quick and active defender who covers the field from sideline to sideline. He has the flexibility, body control and burst off the line to play defensive tackle in college. Weston recorded 14 to be sacks in 2003. When asked to name his favorite schools, Weston mentioned Florida State, Florida, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Nebraska, USC and LSU.
