Summary:
Sasha Vujacic
Slovenia's Sasha Vujacic
Notes: Vujacic, a native of Slovenia, impressed scouts with a good performance at the Chicago pre-draft camp last season. Vujacic got bites from several teams in that draft, including the Lakers, but ultimately decided to return to Europe and improve his stock. He's played big minutes for Udine this season. Unfortunately for Vujacic, most of those minutes have been at off-guard, not at the point where he's projected to play in the pros. He has just a $350,000 buyout this year meaning there's nothing holding him back from going into the league this year.

Upside: He's a 6-foot-7 combo guard with some definite point guard skills. He is a remarkable ball handler for someone his size and thrives penetrating to the basket. He's also become an accomplished shooter lately, especially in the mid range game.

Downside: He'll need to get stronger and speed up his game to succeed in the NBA. While his mid range game looks great, he still needs to work on his NBA three point shooting. He's shooting just 32 percent from three this year and he's closer to the basket than he'll be in the pros. His lack of lateral quickness will cause him problems defensively.

Insider Projection: Several scouts see a young Brent Barry when watching him. He's a great shooter and has special court vision. He was impressive in an SFX workout in Chicago, but then got eaten alive by Devin Harris in a private workout for the Raptors. He's likely a lock for the first round and could go somewhere in the twenties on draft night.
