Which players hold the key to unlock entry into the playoffs? It might surprise you, but for some teams their best players are the least of their worries. Being the best, you expect them to step up and deliver. But for these teams out West, their best players' best still might not be enough.

The race for eighth in the Western Conference is as exciting as any we've seen in many a year. Three teams are vying for that final spot, and each presents a different problem for whomever secures the No. 1 seed.
