It rarely makes sense to label any player a bust during his first or second season in the NBA. Every player develops at his own pace. When you start to factor in how young players are these days and their sometimes limited opportunities, it's insane to write off anyone after their first 18 months in the league.

Teams that do often pay a serious price. Just ask the Blazers if they're still hurting from that Jermaine O'Neal for Dale Davis trade.

With that said, there have been a fair share of disappointments the past two years. Here's a look at few teams who seem to have struck out with their rookies the past two seasons.

While no one is writing any of these players off just yet, the early signs aren't encouraging.
