Finally, Expos have new home
It took a while, but Major League Baseball has finally resolved the Expos' situation.
Whoever buys the Expos -- remember, MLB still owns and operate the team -- will have an exciting and talented core of young players. Catcher Brian Schneider could win a Gold Glove, second baseman Jose Vidro (now on the DL) is solid and their outfielders are strong.
With starters like Tony Armas and Tomo Ohka, the Expos have a good pitching foundation, and they have a solid bullpen-in-the-making. In fact, with a couple more pieces, the Expos have a chance to become contenders almost immediately.
