HOUSTON -- Dallas McPherson's name appears regularly on chat boards populated by Anaheim Angels fans. They've heard stories about his awesome power potential, and they want to see him summoned from the minors so they can watch him crush a few fastballs into the seats, first-hand.
McPherson, a second-round draft pick out of The Citadel in 2001, refuses to get caught up in the hype because it does him little good. He's also browser-impaired.
