It's Insider mailbag day, and we've got letters from both Milwaukee Brewers and Detroit Tigers fans -- talking loud and proud. Apparently they didn't get the memo that it's George Steinbrenner's world, and they just live in it.

This is the first year in a while that the Brewers have had multiple players deserving of an all-star nod, so the five of us Brewer fans left outside the state of Wisconsin can rejoice. Seriously, Ben Sheets, Lyle Overbay, Doug Davis and Danny Kolb can all make very strong cases why they belong. Davis is really floating under the radar, a Jamie Moyer-type who posted a 5-1 June with a 3.22 ERA. Plus, he gets the run support (5.40) that seems to elude Ben Sheets, who has really been brilliant this year.
