There isn't a lot to be excited about if you are a Tampa Bay Devil Rays fan. Top prospect Josh Hamilton has been injured much of the year; several pitching prospects have gone down with injuries as well. Don't even talk about the major-league team, if you can call it that.
But there is a bit of hope on the immediate horizon. The catching duo of John Flaherty and Mike DiFelice shouldn't be blocking Toby Hall for much longer, and Hall is one of the few bright spots in an otherwise depressing season.
