What a relief for Dodgers

David Ross hasn't produced much for the Dodgers of late. That all changed with his game-winning homer Thursday.

1:39 a.m. ET: DODGERS IN THE CATBIRD SEAT: Wow, what an ending (and what a week it's been). In the bottom of the 11th inning, Los Angeles catcher David Ross hit the ball over the fence to restore the Dodgers' lead over the Giants to three games in the NL West. What does this game mean? It means that now the Giants have to beat the Dodgers four times to win the West -- three times this weekend, then again in a one-game playoff on Monday -- as opposed to only three times (all three games this weekend).
