9:01 p.m. ET: MISMATCH IN MISSOURI: I came into the evening with high hopes of watching at least a few innings of the Royals-Yankees game, but I doubted if I could hang around for anywhere near that long. Kansas City starter Brian Anderson came into the game with a 6.01 ERA, and of course the Yankees have one of the better lineups in the game.
