WINTER HAVEN, Fla. Kevin Millwood, a guy so outwardly bland he makes Greg Maddux look manic by comparison, certainly came to the right place for spring training.
Winter Haven, the Cleveland Indians' Grapefruit League home, has an Outback Steakhouse, a Carrabba's Italian Grill, and not much else to divert your attention from baseball for seven weeks. If a man steers clear of the alligators swimming in Lake Lulu, he can go from mid-February through late March without elevating his pulse rate.
