My fantasy baseball top 10

Honestly, I thought it was a slam dunk in picking the first pick in 2007 fantasy baseball drafts. Not that I didn't do the research on it, or that I just jumped on some bandwagon, but Albert Pujols is the best, right? Look at the numbers, consistent power year after year, the batting average, he's durable and he even runs a bit. Who would take someone else first?

Well, turns out there are others to be considered in the top spot, whether I wanted to believe it or not. Not that there's anything wrong with a little disagreeing once in a while. It's not like I picked Pujols and my wife thinks Jeff Keppinger is No. 1, and the compromise is, like the saying goes, Keppinger. Healthy debate is a good thing when both sides make sense, right?

At our fantasy baseball rankings meetings it became obvious soon that not everyone would take Pujols first, and that's OK. In every draft there's only one first pick anyway, and if you want to go in another direction with the first overall pick, and I'm second, well, then I totally agree with your choice if Pujols slips down to me! How about that?
