Few fighters have withstood the sustained onslaught of a list of heavy hitters such as DeMarcus Corley, Randall Bailey, Cesar Bazan, Carlos Quintana and Shane Mosley as Cotto has. But taking the full count voluntarily on one knee -- as Cotto did against Margarito -- wasn't a great sign (loaded gloves or not). Mayweather, who can be justifiably charged with being a safety-first fighter, has had few chances to show off his durability. But here's the reality: He has never been significantly hurt by even the hardest punchers among his opponents. That counts for plenty.
