The Mets and first-round pick Matt Harvey, a right-hander from the University of North Carolina, have yet to reach agreement on a signing bonus. A team official indicated the negotiations likely will go to the midnight deadline Monday night/Tuesday morning.

Harvey's advisor is Scott Boras.

Harvey is the seventh overall pick. The eighth overall pick, second baseman Delino DeShields, received a $2.15 million signing bonus from the Houston Astros.

Of the top seven picks, only fourth overall pick Christian Colon is so far signed, according to Baseball America. His deal is worth $2.75 million with Kansas City.
