Carlos Beltran was scratched from Saturday's lineup after waking up with swelling in his right eye.

Beltran said he awoke "like with something on my eye."

He alerted the trainers, who gave him eye drops. Beltran will see a doctor. He said it is painful on the top of the eye.

"Maybe I scratched it during the night," Beltran said. "It just burns. It's burning inside, on top of it."
