A Friday tradition that started four years ago during the Giants' run to Super Bowl XLII will continue in Indianapolis.

Rich "Big Daddy" Salgado arranged for 15 pizzas to be delivered from Umberto's Pizzeria and Restaurant in New Hyde Park, Long Island, to Indianapolis to feed the Giants after practice Friday. It is a tradition that Salgado -- founder and CEO of Coastal Advisors LLC, which provides insurance to pro athletes -- started after he took former Giant Michael Strahan to Umbertos and he loved the pizza.

Salgado usually delivers the pizzas to the Giants in New Jersey each Friday and places them in the training room, closest to the lockers of the offensive linemen, many of whom are Salgado clients. But this week he had to have them flown in from New York. The players will find the pizzas waiting for them after practice, when the offensive linemen usually are the biggest indulgers (surprise, surprise).

"These are not just good-luck pizzas," Salgado texted Friday. "This is a Friday tradition."
