Kentucky and Maryland, who played each other in the first college basketball game at Barclays Center last November, are coming back for more.
Both schools have signed multiyear agreements to continue playing games at the new building in downtown Brooklyn. Next season, Kentucky will play Providence at Barclays Center on Dec. 1. Maryland's date and opponent have yet to be determined.
Also, St. John's will play in the Barclays Center Classic next season, on Nov. 29-30. The other three participants in the tournament are Georgia Tech, Mississippi and Penn State.
