The league is expecting the TCU-Texas game in Austin will be played on Thanksgiving night, which is one reason why both the Horned Frogs and Longhorns were given a bye week the previous Saturday.

"Judging by Texas' history of playing that day, we anticipate that game would be selected by TV to be played on Thanksgiving," Burda said.
