Arkansas has a first down...and a 13-0 lead

January, 6, 2012
ARLINGTON, Texas -- Arkansas now has two first downs, thanks to an 8-play, 48-yard drive that ended with a 28-yard field goal by sophomore Zach Hocker.

Kansas State's defense was able to stiffen at the goal line, not allowing Arkansas into the endzone on three chances in close. On third-and-2, Tysyn Hartman got in the backfield to create a four-yard loss.

But the Kansas State offense hasn't been able to do much of anything. They've got just 24 total yards and two first downs midway through the second quarter. They are just 1-for-6 on third-down conversions so far.
