BYU takes the lead with 71-yard drive

December, 30, 2011
UNIVERSITY PARK, Texas -- BYU went on a 71-yard touchdown drive that included a few key third-down conversions (something they didn't do in the first half) to take a 17-14 lead with 1:41 left in the third quarter of the Armed Forces Bowl.

The drive ended with a 30-yard touchdown strike from quarterback Riley Nelson to Cody Hoffman. That's the second time those two have connected for a TD pass today.

It's BYU's first lead of the game.
