One week after committing to SMU, Greenbrier (Ark.) High School senior quarterback Neal Burcham has suffered a torn ACL in his right knee, Jon Mahoney of ESPNHS has confirmed.

Burcham, who was the co-MVP of the prestigious Elite 11 quarterback camp, suffered the injury in the regular-season finale last Thursday. An MRI confirmed the injury Monday. He finished the season with 42 touchdowns in 10 games.

In three seasons, Burcham threw for 107 touchdowns. He was rated the No. 20 quarterback by ESPNU.

The All-Star basketball selection will also miss the entire basketball season as well.
