TCU releases 2011 nonconference slate
The school, which is in its final season in the Mountain West before joining the Big East in 2012, released its nonconference football schedule Thursday.
Following an open date Sept. 10, the Horned Frogs will play three consecutive home games at Amon G. Carter Stadium, which is currently undergoing a $105 million renovation.
The game against former MWC rival BYU marks the second straight year that TCU will play in Arlington. The Horned Frogs defeated Oregon State, 30-21, in last year's season opener at Cowboys Stadium.
The dates of the Horned Frogs' MWC contests will be announced in the spring. TCU will host Colorado State, New Mexico and UNLV while traveling to Air Force, Boise State, San Diego State and Wyoming.

Sept. 3: at Baylor
Sept. 17: vs. Louisiana-Monroe
Sept. 24: vs. Portland State
Oct. 1: vs. SMU
Oct. 28: vs. BYU at Cowboys Stadium, 7 p.m.
