Terrence Toliver's fingertips lift LSU

January, 7, 2011
ARLINGTON, Texas -- LSU got its fans into the Cotton Bowl Classic with a big play late in the first quarter.

Jordan Jefferson's pass was caught on the fingertips by Terrence Toliver, who held on before diving into the signage behind the end zone. The 42-yard catch made it a 10-7 A&M lead.

LSU's drive was 80 yards on eight plays and took just 3:15. Jefferson converted a key third down as LSU approached midfield and scrambled for some more yardage to keep the chains moving for the Tigers.
