SMU tops Washington State, 35-21

SMU improved to 2-1 on Saturday with a 35-21 win over Washington State at Gerald J. Ford Stadium.

It was SMU's first win over a Pac-10 opponent since 1974.

Mustangs quarterback Kyle Padron threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for another.

Aldrick Robinson was the recipient of three of Padron's touchdown passes. Robinson had four receptions for 111 yards against the Cougars.
