SMU leads 21-14 after time-consuming drive

September, 18, 2010
DALLAS -- The Mustangs took a 21-14 lead on a 10-yard pass by Darius Johnson midway through the third quarter.

The drive was 73 yards, but it took 12 plays and 7:16, the second-longest drive by time of the year (only a 99-yarder at Texas Tech took longer).

SMU's defense has dialed up some more pressure and forced a Washington State punt from its own end zone. So the Mustangs have the ball back with 2:02 left in the third quarter and leading 21-14.
