The Texas Longhorns are holding on to a national ranking by a thread, coming in at No. 25 in the ESPN/USA Today poll, while completely dropping out of the Associated Press Top 25 poll.

Texas (22-7, 8-6) climbed to No. 1 on Jan. 11 and two weeks later has been in freefall. The Longhorns dropped out of the AP Top 25 poll after a dismantling Saturday at Texas A&M, which might not be getting as much respect as it deserves considering its high RPI. The Aggies (20-8, 9-5) sit in the No. 24 spot and 23rd in the AP poll

Kansas surrendered the No. 1 spot to Syracuse in both polls after a weekend loss at Oklahoma State, which remains unranked in both polls.

Kansas State moved up to No. 5 in both polls and Baylor comes in at No. 22 in the ESPN/USA Today poll and 21st in the AP poll.
