TCU to the Big 12? That's one prediction

ESPN.com's Mark Schlabach sure has some bold predictions for the next decade. Note: These are his predictions on what's going to happen. A few interesting items:

* He said Missouri will end up in the Big 10 and TCU would take Missouri's slot in the Big 12. That would be a big coup for TCU. Right now, you'd have to argue that TCU has a better shot of making a BCS b0wl by playing in the Mountain West Conference. But for the school overall, playing in the Big 12 would have big advantages. It sure would be fun to see TCU play Oklahoma and Texas every year, wouldn't it? How do Frog fans feel about the possibility of TCU in the Big 12?

* He said Texas coach Mack Brown will be one of a some big-name coaches to retire this decade. And he predicts that the Longhorns will be in good shape under Will Muschamp.

* He has SMU as the next BCS buster. I'm assuming he means a team that has yet to be a BCS buster (taking Boise State, Utah and TCU out of that mix). BYU could certainly get there too. But there's little doubt SMU is on the way up and in a very winable conference. It's nice to see them getting some national attention.
