Eddie Gossage, Texas Motor Speedway president, raised the Talladega Superspeedway flag at TMS today, where it will fly all weekend. It was part of the bet Gossage made with his counterpart at Talladega on the outcome of Thursday's BCS Championship game.

Because Alabama won, Gossage raised the flag in chilly conditions today -- with a wooden Alabama knome watching as a stand-in for Talladega Superspeedway president Rick Humphrey. Gossage is also wearing Crimson Tide apparel. He sent Humphrey and his staff some food from Sonny Bryan's as well.
