TMS president betting on Texas

Texas Motor Speedway president Eddie Gossage is always willing to take part in a friendly wager. So it's no surprise that he's cooked up a bet with Talladega Superspeedway president Rick Humphrey in regards to the BCS Championship game.

So here's the deal: If Texas loses to Alabama, Gossage will have to fly the flag of Talladega Superspeedway at TMS through the weekend and wear a hat and golf shirt with the Crimson Tide logo on it. Humphrey will do the opposite should the Longhorns win.

"I'm always up for a good bet," Gossage said in a release. "I think Rick will look great in burnt orange and the Texas Motor Speedway flag will look great flying over Talladega Superspeedway."
