COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Tre' Newton has 103 yards after doing most of the work on a 58-yard drive that puts Texas up 35-21 with 8:26 left in the third quarter.

The drive came after A&M fumbled the ball. Christine Michael had trouble grabbing the handoff and Dallas' Sergio Kindle recovered for Texas. The Longhorns took advantage to take the first 14-point lead of the night.

BTW, we had a Rick Perry sighting in the press box. The Texas governor is a graduate of Texas A&M.
