PawSox hitting coach joins A's staff
Perry, who spent the 2010 season with the PawSox and has 10 years experience as a hitting coach in Major League Baseball, returns to the team he helped bring to the 2006 American League Championship Series. He has also worked for the Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates and Seattle Mariners, and spent 13 seasons playing in the majors.
Perry replaces Jim Skaalen on the A's staff.
