The Boston Red Sox confirmed the next three candidates to interview for their managerial vacancy, announcing Tuesday that Cleveland Indians bench coach Sandy Alomar Jr., Toronto Blue Jays first base coach Torey Lovullo and Detroit Tigers third base coach Gene Lamont would all come through Fenway before the end of the week.

Alomar is first up Wednesday, with Lovullo (Friday) and Lamont (Saturday) getting their shots later in the week. On Monday, Texas Rangers pitching coach Mike Maddux withdrew his name from consideration, citing family reasons.
